M90 - 40 minutes to the Forth Road Bridge (pictured below) - toll charge 40p one way - take left side tollbooth and follow directions to Airport.
Once past the Airport at Ingleston, follow City Centre traffic - once through Corstorphine (look out for Zoo and Posthouse Hotel on the left, then Murrayfield Rugby Stadium (pictured right) on the right -
Car may be parked in street up on left - Murrayfield Avenue or Road - Residential Free Parking.
After checking correct street name for return! - continue your visit by bus - enquire before boarding if bus goes right along Princes Street to Tourist Information Centre - fare will be approximately 50p each way.
At Waverley, where the Tourist Information Centre is situated, you are right in the heart of this amazing city. Open topped buses run every 10 minutes to all the sights and places of interest in the new and old town. |
